Organic personal care is seeing dynamic growth, attracting increased interest among traditional personal care companies, who are investing in the acquisition and development of organic lines. With a continued lack of USDA organic standards for personal care products, some companies are choosing to certify to the food standards. Consumers are eager for products without traditional chemical ingredients, but packaging, price, fair sourcing and animal testing are all challenging issues as well.
